What hve I learnt

This week I have learnt how to write out a method for ingredients and for our science fair projects. At first  it was a bit frustrating to write what is happening but then I got use to it and my instructions turned out exactly what had happened during Mrs. cooking class.

I have also learnt how to calculate angles by not using a protractor. At first it seemed very easy because we were doing simple things, but as we got more experience we started getting more harder work but then I kept on practising so know I have learnt how to calculate angles.

Did you find calculating angles easy or hard?
Did you like Mrs. Bolger's cooking?

Fav Hobbies

Well I have lots of favourite hobbies but the main 3 I like are:

Swimming = I like swimming because it's enjoyable when you are playing games with your friends or families and even people who you meet at the swimming pool. I also really enjoy swimming competitions because it makes your work hard and also so that you can get an award.

u10stouch
Touch Rugby = I like touch rugby because it really fun when you play it with friends and famiilies. You get involved alot in the game and most of the time your running or passing the rugby ball. I started playing touch rugby when I was 9 and I still enjoy playing it.

Netball= I like netball because its fun playing with a team. There are lots of competistions and lots of teams who sign up. Netball is a fun sport for girls and is very agressive.

Are  you hobbies agressive? Do your hobbies includes team-work?

Book Review

Cliff Hanger
Jacqueline Wilson
This book is about a young boy named Tim and he doesn’t like sports. His Dad tries to teach him how to play different sports but for starters he can’t even catch a ball so his Dad gave up. One day his Dad was reading through the newspaper and saw an article about an adventure holidays for kids. Tim’s Dad was really interested and was trying to persuade Tim that it would be really fun but all Tim’s Mum was thinking about his safety first.
“ Don’t let go of the rope, right?” said Jake.
“This couldn’t be real. It couldn’t be happening to me. If I closed my eyes maybe it would all turn into a nightmare and then I’d wake up in bed at home with Walter Bear,” thought Tim.
Tim arrives at the holiday program and people start teasing him but then suddenly he became a hero.
This book is a short novel but really funny. It is also a very interesting book which would make you laugh.  It is recommended for children from the ages of 8 to 11. If you like humorous books this a a great story for you to read.

An Amazing art work

This is a piece of art work that we have been doing in class recently. This is my second copy because my first one was terrible and I also messed it up. The reason why I chose this was because I really like the color and it looks really cool. I also really like how just by using a straw and blowing can make the branches.

When you did your art did you mess up your first one? Do you think my is cool? :)   Do you like your art?
