On the first week of the holiday I was really happy because I got to sleep longer in the morning, but also because my Dad was at home. During the week the weather was great so me and my family would run down to Nairnville with our puppy and we would play lots of different sports. We did this so me and my sister had some practice for the cross-country coming up.
During the 2nd week of the holiday me and my sister went to a netball program at the ASB Stadium. It was from Monday til Friday and the time was from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and it was really tiring. We did lots of drills and games to help us improve our skills. In the afternoon we had lunch and then dancing. We did all kinds of dancing like: Jazz, Zumba, Cheer leading, Funk and Hip hop. My favorite one was Jazz because the teacher we had was really nice and chose a really good song to dance to.On the Friday we had a big netball tournament. My team came 2nd which was fine. Then they gave out awards of most improved player and I was chosen. I was given a poster of the Pulse and a certificate. I was really proud of myself and hope I use my skills in netball at school.
After the Netball tournament I had soccer practise. I was really sore but I got to see my friends Anna, Caitlin and Gabby and got to know what they did on the holidays.
On the last day of the holiday I had my first soccer game in New Zealand. We drew with another team but we should have won. I felt really proud of myself and can't wait to play another game.Thanks for reading about my Holiday and hope you enjoyed yours as much as I did.
